This project involved the delivery of multiple steel conveyor truss units from Perth to Paraburdoo, a remote mining region in Western Australia. The total transport distance exceeded 1,600 kilometres and required detailed planning and execution to ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency throughout each stage of the journey.
Operations commenced in Perth, with lifting of the concrete structures ready for transport, with onsite supervision of the lifting operations.
Our team arranged the procurement of relevant permits and appropriate pilots for the 1,650 kilometre journey of Perth to Pilbara to ensure the smooth transition of cargo.
Our Rail Services Team was engaged by a long-standing client to assess 14 non-operational wagons, with the goal of producing 10 operational wagons to add to their current fleet.
The process began with an initial inspection of the assets. We observed the wagons for normal wear, corrosion, and structural damage. This was followed by a detailed brake system inspection, including examination and testing of air hoses, cylinders, and rigging. We ensured that all components could be repaired or maintained in accordance with relevant Australian industry standards.
Our Rail Services Team was engaged by new client to assess the wheel condition of a passenger car, to reduce the asset down time by providing on-site maintenance, during the scheduled maintenance period.
