Cargo from 6 different suppliers in China was consolidated in Shanghai before being loaded sailing for Sattahip, where the balance of the cargo was added to the vessel. Upon arrival in Port Hedland cargo was delivered to three different locations. Norwest’s Projects executed the delivery using their own assets and in line with the proposed budget.
Several obstacles were presented during execution of the project including congestion in Thailand, quarantine issues and a cyclone in Port Hedland that forced immediate action from the team. NGL remained flexible throughout the operation tailoring the delivery sequence and speed to match the site installation.
